HENRY (Duke of Gloucester, 1900-1974, Officer in the 10th Hussars, Marshall of the RAF, Governor General of Australia)

Excellent portrait photo by Vandyk, signed and dated on the image showing him half length wearing his Eton uniform of formal jacket and bow tie, turning to face the camera but standing sideways, 6" x 4" in mount 11" x 7½", no place but Eton,

Prince Henry attended St Peter's Court in Broadstairs and then Eton College from September 1913. During the First World War he lived in Mr. Lubbock's house which was also home to Crown Prince Leopold of Belgium (later Leopold III).
