Napoleon Sarony (1821-1896, American lithographer and photographer). He was a highly popular and great portrait photographer, best known for his portraits of the stars of late-19th-century American theatre.
Nilsson possessed a brilliant bel canto technique and was considered a rival to the Victorian era's most famous diva, Adelina Patti. She became a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music in 1869.
