Exceptional Silk Programme of the State Performance at the Royal Opera House,
to "Commemorate the Sixtieth Anniversary of Her Majesty's Accession to the throne", the programme starts with 'God Save the Queen' and then has excerpts from 'Tannhauser', 'Romeo et Juliette' and 'Les Huguenots' performed by various of the eminent artists of the day including

(1865-1952, American Soprano),
Édouard de RESZKE
( 1853-1917, Polish Bass),
Dame Nellie MELBA
(1861-1931, Australian Soprano) and
Luigi MANCINELLI
(1848-1921, Italian Conductor), decorated at the head with sepia vignettes in ovals, at the head on either side are Queen Victoria on her accession and at the Jubilee, underneath are similar smaller portraits of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra and George V and Queen Mary and between them is the young Edward VIII, there is a border design of flowers and scrolls and the whole is fringed, 14" x 10½", Covent Garden, 23rd June
