Fine large photo signed "Maria, Princess William of Sweden" with the date, showing her three quarters length, half turned wearing a large hat with feather and glorious sash, 8½" x 6½" in an oval, no place, some damage to the edges of the mount

In 1908, Maria Pavlovna married Prince Wilhelm, Duke of Södermanland.
This picture dates from the break up of her marriage which only lasted five years. Marie returned to Russia and was caught up in the Revolution.
