62nd CORONATION ANNIVERSARY DINNER FOR THE QUEEN [VICTORIA (1819-1901, Queen of Great Britain)]

Fine Menu for 'Her Majesty's Dinner' in gold, red, blue and green, listing the courses in French - starting with soup and fish courses then veal sweetbreads, and chicken, followed by beef, lamb and quail, with accompanying peas and asparagus, ending the meal with puddings and ice creams, there was also a buffet with hot and cold meats, 1 side 8vo., with a vignette of Windsor at the head with the Queen's monogram on either side and a blue and gold border around the whole thing, Windsor, 28th June

Victoria's coronation took place on 28th June 1838 at Westminster Abbey. Over 400,000 visitors came to London for the celebrations. She became the first sovereign to take up residence at Buckingham Palace and inherited the revenues of the duchies of Lancaster and Cornwall as well as being granted a civil list allowance of £385,000 per year.
