WOOD (Sir Henry Evelyn, V.C., 1838-1919, Commander-in-Chief, Egyptian Army 1882-1886, from 1903 Field-Marshal)

Fine Typed Letter Signedwith autograph subscription and corrections to Sir Robert BADEN POWELL (1857-1941, Defender of Mafeking & Founder of the Boy Scouts) thanking him and saying that he will "live as long as I can conveniently. He replied: 'Sir, do you think I would imperil my immortal soul for one rabbit.' So I am going to make up my hundred days ...", 1 side 8vo., Millhurst, Harlow, 25th March
