THE QUEEN MOTHER IS DISTRESSED BY HER DOGS ATTACKING ANOTHER DOG ELIZABETH (The Queen Mother, 1900-2002, Queen of George VI)

Fine Autograph Letter Signed with initials to the Rev. F. J. Stone (Dean at Windsor) saying that they were “so distressed to hear of the attack made by our dogs on your poor little dog the other day and do hope that it will recover very soon. It is so awful when dogs fall out, and especially where damage is done, and we really are terribly disturbed about it all, and do want you to know how deeply we regret it. I do hope that all will be well with the poor sufferer - please let us know, & forgive our naughty dogs who had always behaved like angels up till now. We are longing to get back to Royal Lodge...” 2 sides 8vo., with original autograph envelope signed with initials, 145 Piccadilly, 9th December
