Goldsmith of London was admitted into the freedom aforesaid and sworn in the Mayoralty of Sir James Duke Knt and Anthony Brown Esquire Chamberlain...”. each 16” x 3”,with the arms of the City of London, Chamber of the Guildhall, 2nd March 1830 and 2nd May contained in original wooden tube

Sir James DUKE
(1st Baronet, 1792-1873) was a Liberal Politician and Lord Mayor of London in 1848-49.
