Rare pair of unsigned vintage carte de visite photos both full length, the Duke is standing, against a backdrop of a wall and a pillar, in full uniform, holding his helmet and the Princess is wearing a dress with a huge crinoline and holding a shawl, each 3¾” x 2½”, no place, no date, circa

These photograph were taken by John Jabez Edwin Paisley MAYALL (1813 -1901) who was an English photographer who in 1860 took the first carte-de-visite photographs of Queen Victoria.
