At the age of 12, Wolff won the King of the Netherlands’ travelling scholarship and was decorated by many of the crowned heads of Europe before settling in France (Légion d’Honneur). He published for Violin and Piano a ‘Romance in D’ (1891) and ‘Souvenir sans Paroles’(1902).

Quant à Mrs Schumann elle viendra et jouera aussi l’Ave Maria. J’ai donné son programme à Mr Ganz. Il arrangera tout pour le mieux.
