Ada Crossley sang in Henry Wood’s second ‘Prom’ season of 1896, several times in ‘Elijah’, and was the singer at the ‘Titanic Band’ Memorial Concert at the Albert Hall, 1912, in memory of the eight musicians who went down, playing to the last. Seven orchestras combined took part and numbered 600 performers.
