PRINCESS ANNE’S WEDDING PHOTO ANNE (b. 1950, Princess Royal, Daughter of Elizabeth II) & Capt Mark PHILLIPS (b. 1948, her ex-husband)

Fine Photo BY Norman Parkinson, signed by both and dated by Mark showing the couple half length in their wedding clothes, 10” x 8” in mount, 13” x 10”, in original blue morocco frame by Jarrolds, 15” x 11”, no place but Westminster Abbey, 14th November

Anne wore an "embroidered Tudor-style wedding dress, with a high collar and medieval-influenced sleeves". The dress was high-necked and high-waisted. It was designed by Maureen Baker, the chief designer for Susan Small. She wore a pair of diamond cluster earrings and her hair was "slightly parted up-do, with beehive volume." The Queen Mary Fringe Tiara secured her veil. Phillips wore the full dress uniform of his regiment, the Queen's Dragoon Guards.
