Morris, son of the ornithologist F.O.Morris, saying "Yorkshire and Beverley are famous spots to dwell in ... even if they have not the peculiar tender romance of Wales", referring him for "the sea blue bird of March" to "Hallams full and faithful life of his father", Lord Tennyson, "It is taken from the Greek poet Alcman", he thinks the halcyon "is most seen in March when the leaves are still not on, but I have seen it in January and July", he talks of other poets and other Morrises, and asks "Have you read The Good Companions which everybody is talking of; a tribute to Yorkshire?", 2 sides 8vo., 74 Woodstock Road, Oxford, 10th April '1903', really faint trace of paper clip
