Thomas, with a note saying that "evening dress is de rigueur", 1 side 4½" x 6¾", (Paris), 21st October lacking a small piece out of the top edge

President Carnot reviewed the Russian fleet at Toulon, and a party of Russian Officers then travelled to Paris where they were received and entertained with the wildest enthusiasm.
