Autograph Letter Signed 'Albert Edward' to Lady Rosslyn, (Blanche, 1839-1933, widow of the 4th Earl, 1833-1890, mother by a previous marriage of 'Darling Daisy', the Prince's mistress), saying he hardly likes "to intrude so soon on your grief" but offering his "sincerest sympathy", referring to "the terrible anxiety" while she nursed her husband for two years, "it is perhaps for the best - no man was so active in mind and body", and trusting that "your own health will not suffer by all you have gone through", 3 sides 8vo., crest and heading printed in black, Marlborough House, 7th September
