THE DIAMOND JUBILEE, 1897 [VICTORIA (1819-1901, Queen of Great Britain)]

Fine photographic print of Queen Victoria in her open carriage passing from Cheapside into Mansion House Street (now Poultry), clearly visible under a large sunshade, followed by the Prince of Wales on horseback leading a vast procession mounted and on foot, the windows and balconies are crammed with cheering figures, the street hung with garlands, in the foreground is a group of blue-coat boys from nearby Christ's Hospital, 7½" x 11¼" on card 10½" x 13½", L.S. & P. Co., 22nd July

On the verso are fine photographic prints of Salisbury Cathedral, the chained library at Wimborne Minster, and Corfe Castle of similar date.
