Autograph Letter Signed to Mrs Bennett, asking "Will Dr Bennett dine with us tomorrow Friday ... it is very difficult to secure gentlemen ... unless they are kept to it by their better half.- I am quite grieved not to see you", no place, no date, c.

Beside her novels Catherine Sinclair wrote 'Holiday House' for children, and 'Scotland and the Scotch' (1840). Her father was Sir John Sinclair of the 'Statistical Account'.
