DICKSON (Dorothy, 1893-1995, American Musical Comedy Star)

Dorothy Dickson's long career in England, from 1921, included Peter Pan, 1925 and 1926. In 1944 she founded the Stage Door Canteen in Piccadilly for the troops. Her first husband was the dancer Carl Hyson. She married Sir Anthony Quayle in 1947.
