CAMPOLI (Alfredo, 1906-1991, Italian-born British violinist)

Programme signed on the front cover of the concert by the Lemare Orchestra, in which he played Mozart's Concerto No. 4 in D minor and four solos with piano accompaniment in contrasting styles, by Bach, Elgar, Hubay and Bazzini, the orchestra also played a Handel Concerto Grosso and the Symphonie Spirituelle No. 6 by Asger Hamerik (1843-1923), 8 sides 8¾" x 5¾", Central Hall, Scarborough, 12th March
