Cariad II was built by the Berthod Boat Co. in 1903 for the 4th Earl of Dunraven of the Royal Yacht Squadron to replace Cariad I (1896), sold in 1901. She won the King's Cup, open to members of the RYS, in 1905, 1910, 1912 and 1921.
