Hand-painted and lettered Christmas card signed to 'dearest Mrs Bevan', bearing a Christmas Rose, with on the verso the Duchess' wishes for the New Year and "restored health to Mr Bevan", ending "Ever your affectionate friend", 2 sides card 4¼" x 5½", n.p., 1890 - small adhesion touching one letter at top of verso

Mrs Bevan was a London President of the Needlework Guild, whose clothes and parcels half filled White Lodge each autumn.
