Fine and striking unsigned portrait photograph, showing him head and neck in profile to the left, the lighting brings out his features very strongly, laid down on stout board, 13" x 12½", no place, no date, circa tiny defects in three corners just touching the dark background

Albert I was much admired for his bearing during the German occupation, 1914-1918, and during the subsequent restoration of his country.
