Autograph letter signed to Lady ROSSLYN (Blanche, 1839-1933, mother by her first marriage of 'darling Daisy', [Frances, Countess of Warwick, mistress of Edward VII] , and widow of the 4th Earl), asking her if she will join [young] Lady Rosslyn (wife of the 5th Earl), with whom he has just been staying, at "lunch with me on Friday", 1 side 7" x 4½", Gloucester House, Park Lane, 26th March

The Rosslyns were close friends of the Queen and the Royal Family. Miss Blanche Maynard, Lady Rosslyn's other daughter by her first marriage, married Prince George's ADC, Lord Algy Gordon-Lennox.
