Pair of Typed Letters Signed, the first addressed to Prince George by Mrs S. May Blackler, Secretary of the Great Dane Club, saying on behalf of the Committee, "who are informed you are now taking an interest in our breed", that the club is "on the eve of attaining its pre-War prosperity" and asking if he will "graciously consent to become the Patron", the second asking his equerry, the Hon. Ronald Bowes Lyon, to convey the Committee's thanks for consenting, in which "All my members will, I am sure, join", together 2 sides 10" x 8", 71 Reigate Hill, Reigate, Surrey, 10th and 19th December

On the first letter is pencilled 'Granted. H.R.H. made enquiries himself'.
