Today I got Lord John Hamilton to ask the King if I may have you with me for 4 or 5 days (say 7). The King replied, 'What Rogan; certainly I shall be pleased to see him here", the writer will be delighted "to make you comfortable", it is "very cold night & morning so come prepared", blue embossed crown, 3 sides 8vo., Balmoral Castle, 21st September
