Stopford, (1860-1943, Commandant at the Royal Military College 1911-1914 and 1916-1919), sending "the photograph I promised you", he has just heard from Major Haworth "giving an account of the new R.M.C. life ... the new company arrangements are quite successful but he misses 'H' company very much and has not quite made out the duties of 2nd in command", hoping "you like your new quiet life in Kent", adding "I am having a very quiet time here although I do a good deal of work", and asking "Will you please send me one of your photographs?", 2 sides 8vo, Southacre, Cambridge, 3rd February

Prince Henry went from Eton to Sandhurst, and from there to Trinity, Cambridge.
