Autograph letter signed to the Rev. J. Wreford, enclosing "a Programme of my Annual Benefit Concert" [not present] and respectfully soliciting "the honor of your Patronage", 1 side 6¼" x 3¾", 2 Prospect Place, St. Michael's Hill, Bristol, dated in another hand May laid down by blank fourth side

With notes in another hand on side 3 of concerts "in which I heard Mr H.C.C.", also saying "Mdlle Jenny Lind ... wrote him a very complimentary letter in French" and that "He lived in Bristol previous to his removal to London in the spring of 1848".
