Delightful unsigned Carte-de-visite Portrait Photograph, by Hills & Saunders, showing her seated nearly full length in profile, head turned to three quarter face, in a fine dark dress, the top edged with ruched ribbon, the velvet overskirt with a strong repeating appliqué pattern topped with a lacelike design, she is holding a book nearly upright in her lap, on the verso are two portions of the label of Orr & Barton of Bangalore over the photographer's display, 4¼" x 2½", no place, no date, circa
