'La Sieste' for tenor or soprano and piano, 2/4 in D flat, no. 3 of 'Six Mélodies', the words by Auguste de Châtillon, (1808-1881, French artist and poet), softly singing to his sweetheart, asleep at midday, signed and inscribed in French to the soprano Madame Henriette Fuchs "in grateful homage" and dated, 1+5+1 sides 13¼" x 10½", Paris, Henri Heugel, June guarded with light traces of former stitching, slightly cropped at top barely touching one letter in inscription
