Fine unsigned informal Photograph showing him full length, nearly full face, in shorts, long stockings, short jacket and cravat, holding a cigarette and chatting with an official wearing a long coat and spurred boots, across the road are three motor cars, the nearest displaying a small Union Jack in the windscreem, with four other men in view, taken during the King and Mrs Simpson's cruise on Lady Yule's 'Nahlin' from the Adriatic to Turkey and back, on the verso is Columbia's full-page notice of Jack Le Vien's two-hour film, 1965, based on the Duke's 'A King's Story' but greatly expanded using footage and stills as here from the Duke's private collection, 10" x 8", Greece, from an original of

These photos were reproduced, mostly for the first time, from his private collection, as press releases for Jack Le Vien's film 'A King's Story'. This comes from his yachting tour when King with Mrs Simpson in the summer of 1936 when they travelled around the Mediterranean.
