(purely a matter of instinct)", with a similar comment about the Crucible, "easily the best ... of the thrust stage theatres ... and, yes, as Richard III at Stratford Ont ... I ... sat dangling my legs over the edge" of the balcony, however "... I am no longer greatly in sympathy with the thrust and arena stages, though I feel the 'traverse' stage has something to offer", he begs Price not to send him 'Flower of Cities', as he "loosely put together" a duologue about London and did it with "Miss Irene Worth ... at ... Aldeburgh ... a few weeks ago ... I am sure I would be jealous and tempted to plagiarise ...
