Charming Unsigned Cabinet Photograph of their Portrait by William Pape (b. 1852), signed in the painting by the artist and dated, showing them full length, the future Empress three quarter face in a long day dress with jacket held by a bow, her summer hat on her wrist, Prince Wilhelm in military uniform with upright peaked cap and sword looking up at his mother, and Prince Eitel Friedrich full face bare headed in a sailor suit, the Heiliger See and the palace in the background, published by Cassirer & Danziger of Berlin, retail label of Friedrich Blos of Karlsruhe on verso, 6½" x 4¼", Marmorpalais, Potsdam, a trifle rubbed at edges

William Pape is best known for the stained glass windows made at his factory at Leeds, set up in 1876. He regularly showed his designs at the Royal Academy.Summer Exhibition.
