a magazine full page photograph by Richard N. Speaight of Lady Beatrice, showing her seated full length, three quarter face, in an elegant day dress and hat, a garden basket on her lap, next to her eldest daughter and second child Marye Frances (b. 19th April 1903), on the opening leaf from 'Country Life' for 30th January 1904 (Vol. XV, no. 369), 14" x 9", together 4 items, the signatures
Pole-Carew was Military Secretary to Lord Roberts in India and commanded the 9th Brigade of Guards and the 11th Division in South Africa, 1899-1900.
