In the early days of the War you opened your door to strangers ... and offered to share your home with them ... you have sacrificed much of your own comfort" and referring to "the loyal co-operation of all in your household ... you have helped the State in a work of great value", her fine personal coat of arms impaling Bowes-Lyon in full colour, with the original envelope to Mrs Holder in Oxted, Surrey, postmarked Buckingham Palace, 1 side 10¾" x 6¾", no date but end of a little light browning, envelope worn at flap
