Rare Unsigned Carte-de-visite Portrait Photograph, while Cristina was still unmarried, showing them both full length, three quarter face, Cristina is seated, writing with a quill pen at a small table, in a dress with long vertical stripes, watched by her mother who is looking down with her hand on the table, and wearing a dark dress with broad velvet ribbons hanging from the shoulder, 4" x 2½", no place, no date, circa small bump in middle of blank bottom margin without loss

Queen Cristina was by nature a strong Conservative. Her long Regency owed much to her ability to work with Liberals and to encourage consensus politics between the two main parties.
