Mrs. Elizabeth Jones (d. 13th May 1881, for 14 years the much-loved nanny to the Wales children), hoping she is "much better & have no pains in your leg ... I miss you very much indeed espesaly when we go to bed I always want to go in your room & see what you are doing", she did go in "yesterday & I opened your chest of drawers ... and saw some sort of pictures ... It is so green here ... I am shure if you were here you would drive in your little poney cart at once ....", she hopes Mrs Jones "wont mind me not writing my little story ... because the post goes at 11 o clock", but sends instead "an easter card" and to Lala "my best love & also naughty Lydia. The company come's today but there is already three people ... all gentlemen", ending "good bye dear Jonnie, I hope you will be better, I remain your loving little friend", 8 sides 8vo., Sandringham, 16th April
