Nineteenth Century French lawn linen pair of knickers or 'bloomers' reaching almost to the knee, 30" waist with drawstring, length 28" (max.), with a ¾ inch flounce and three smaller ones at the legs, small embroidered monogram on waistband of crowned 'VR' and '19', no date but circa

These knickers must have come from the early part of the Queen's reign as they have a very small waist.
