Fine Caricature Portrait in Colours from Vanity Fair, by 'T', (Théobald Chartran), powerfully drawn, showing him full face, conducting (as Percy Scholes says) with a firm grasp on his 'Field Marshal's baton', with the original printed description, praising him for making "Italian music popular on all the barrel-organs of Europe ... his music is essentially the music of the present, shallow and pleasing, sympathetic and tuneful", with other remarks on his role in politics, No. 193 in the series 'Men of the Day', 2 separate sides 15" x 10½", 15th February small deposit below his right knee which has caused a slight stain, otherwise in excellent condition
