Pair of Typed Letters Signed to Sheridan RUSSELL, (1900-1991, 'Cellist, Hospital Almoner and Art Collector), saying he would be "delighted to join you for lunch and see your collection, but would prefer this to be after Christmas" and "the end of term rush", (16th December 1957), thanking him for the lunch, and giving "a short list of painters", based on the Royal Portrait Painters' Exhibition, "who had at one time or another produced successful portraits and reasonably good pictures as well ... Nothing guaranteed!", and naming "Bernard Adams, Norman Hepple, Paul Wyeth, Peter Rogers, Herbert Holt, John Ward", (18th February 1958), 1 side 8vo and 1 side 4to, as from Royal College of Art, 23 Cromwell Road S.W.7., 1957 and
