Unsigned Cabinet Portrait Photograph, by Mayall, showing him head and shoulders, in profile to the left, a fine study, 6" x 4¼", no place, no date but photographer's details neatly removed from foot of mount

One of the last portraits to be taken before he died on 14th December. On the verso is Mayall's (later) advertisement for their Electric Light Studios for Instantaneous Photography at 90 & 91 Kings Road, Brighton, an attractive layout with strong lettering, a star and its rays.
