Evocative Autograph Letter Signed to 'Sir', saying with reference to "your letter of 20th May" that "At the present time accommodation is very difficult to obtain in this district", but suggesting "Mrs S. Squire, 97 High Street", the two "Mrs W. Jewell", at Lower and Higher Burscott, "Miss Hill at London Lodge", and "Mrs Westlake at 127 Stoops Cottage", all in Clovelly or Higher Clovelly, worn and laid down on silked paper, 1 side 6¾" x 5¼", no place, 3rd June lacking a few letters at the ends of some lines (easily supplied)
