Autograph Letter Signed 'Massimiliano' to General Stanziani, (Commander-in-Chief of the Modenese Army), saying that he particularly values the general's Christmas and New Year wishes and returning his own, "the state of the active and volunteer Estense troops which you enclosed gives a picture that I find all the more interesting", knowing "from my Brother", the Duke of Modena, "how every day brings good reasons to be increasingly pleased with this troop" and flattering himself that the "additional Colonel of Chasseurs ... will one day win his spurs", 1 side folio with conjugate blank, Vienna, 27th December
