GIORDANO (Gaetaano Ettore, 1864-1935, Italian Field Marshal, Minister of War)

In World War I Giordano was Colonel in Chief of the IV Armed Corps. He was present at the capture of Gorizio and awarded the Knight's Cross of the Military order of Savoy. He was the Italian representative at the Interallied Military Committee, Versailles in 1918. He assumed command of the Grappa armed forces and was Military Governor of Fiume. He was made a Knight of the Order of the Annunziata in 1930 and wrote 2 books.
