Pair of Autograph Letters Signed to Admiral Duckworth from the Admiralty saying that he has "laid before my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty your letter to me of the 19th October last requesting that an allowance may be made to you for the Expenses to which you were subjected by the accommodation of the Honble General Stuart and the other Officers therin mentioned on board the Leviathon in the Expedition against the Island of Minorca, I have their lordship's Commands to acquaint you that they have recommended to the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury that an allowance of two hundred Pounds may be made to you ...", the second says he has received his second letter on the subject of his reimbursement and their Lordships have referred him "to my letter of the 11th Instant on that subject ...". in total 3 sides folio, Admiralty, 11th and 19th September
