at Messrs Kerka's (the Ladies' Hairdressers) at 353 Oxford Street, with an interesting Typed Letter with the printed block signature of Harvey Lloyd, organizer, the National Theatre Appeal, to Carleton HOBBS (1898-1978, for fifty years the radio and television broadcaster), acknowledging his cheque for £12, and with the envelope, bearing Hobbs' note in red crayon "Very Important ...", the letter 1 side folio, 50 Pall Mall, 30th April 1937, for 12th May
