'My Little Friend Annual' signed and inscribed 'For darling little Ferrie from Victoria of Wales', the 12 numbers (price a halfpenny each) for 1880 issued as a bound volume with a splendid decorative gilt cover in blue cloth bearing a picture in colours of two children with a toy boat, lithographed frontispiece, with stories, poems and a puzzle for the month, interesting advertisements at end, all profusely illustrated with woodcuts including full page, vi + 96 + 8pp. 8¼" x 6½", published at 20 Paternoster Square, London, the inscription Christmas covers a little worn, advertisements shaken, binding linen holding back cover visible but perfectly firm
