The day is lovely & I feel sure you will have a Good Gathering for many of my friends are going to hear you & I have done my best to make them feel what they will miss if they do not go! ..", 3 sides 8vo., on mourning paper, The Close, Winchester, 22nd February no year

The Dean was away in London ... of course I coundn't go to anything but I felt that some friends who wanted to be at your gathering could not be there & many of the ladies at Wolvesey wished to be with you... your address & beautiful Limelight pictures in Lantern slide were Greatly enjoyed - & admired. I do trust you are not overtired? I so wish I could have seen the pictures & heard you above all! ..."ending with news of an upcoming meeting, 4 sides 8vo., on mourning paper, The Close, 22nd February no year
