Autograph Letter Signed in French with translation, on coloured postcard with a view of Menton, to Charlotte, Lady MacGregor, the writer has marked her house 'Vallaya' in the picture, she explains "Your letter reached me only yesterday, and I do not know whether you were expecting me last Sunday the 24th or next Sunday, but in any case I could not come and see you, Sundays not being free. How long are you in the South?", she asks if she received the Christmas card she sent to Hampton Court, and wishes her "A good and happy new year ... good health which is something essential! Affectionate greetings from your old friend", 1 side 8vo., no date, Christmas
