Set of 3 Thin White Cotton Towels or Runners
with handsome machine-stitched monogram 'VSS', within the damasked fabric of the first are two rich borders, each 2½" broad, the outer of individual wreaths, the inner of trailing stems enclosed in a spiral ribbon expanding to large bows at each corner, in the smaller pieces the outer border, 5½" wide, has a rose tied in an enormous bow, repeated 8 times, and in the inner, 3¾" (max.) wide, a continuous garland of roses and trailing flowers, 43½ inches x 29", 27½" x 28½" and 26" x 28", no date, circa

MONOGRAMMED FABRICS
3 Cream Silk Napkins and 1 Cotton Handkerchief
with machine-stitched coronets and initials, (1) coronet with 3 pearls visible between two lines sloping outwards and initial 'W', with four narrow stripes in the fabric parallel to each edge, 30" x 30", one small hole and two pin holes, a few light spots, otherwise in good condition, (2) coronet of 6 pearls on stems (4 seen), and initial 'S', '19', with pattern in the fabric of five stripes parallel to each edge, 25" x 26", three short lengths of nearly invisible mending, several small holes, some discoloration, (3) coronet of 8 pearls on stems (5 seen), taller in the centre, and initial 'D', with ¾ /'inch stripe in the fabric parallel to each edge, 24½" x 26", a few small holes, some discoloration, and (4) White Cotton Handkerchief with crowned initial 'W' as in (1), 17" x 18", early invisible mending of one tiny hole, otherwise in good condition, no dates but circa 1870 -
