Please send me (to St. James') by tomorrow evening Monday, 20 orders for the Chapel Royal for Thursday" 24th March, the confirmation of her second son Prince Francis (1870-1910, Major in the 1st Dragoons, served in the Sudan and South Africa), "to be given to friends and servants", mentioning "The Princess of Wales & her 3 daughters, Pss. Frederica of Hanover" and her husband "Baron [von] Pawel[-Rammingen], and Bss. Autograph Letter Signed to Mrs Jeune, (Mary Elizabeth, 1849-1931, née Stewart-Mackenzie, wife, 1881, of Judge Francis Henry Jeune, 1843-1905, knighted 1891, 1st Baron St. Helier, 1905), saying "Gladly would I have acceded to your request but ... that very afternoon I am due at Lady Wolverton's to help arrange the stalls and make the final arrangements for a Fête I am organising at Coombe for which Lady Wolverton most kindly lends her charming house and grounds ... more particularly ... to enable us to board out all through the summer and autumn, a succession of very poor worn South London seamstresses &c. for whom the inestimable boon of at least a fortnight's rest, country air and food is, thus secured", and wondering if "you and your kind sister might come down one of the days ?" and perhaps "send me a contribution of flowers for my flower stall ...
